Time for Transition

These wild cherry blossoms are my favorite. They bloom earlier than most cherry trees in the park or popular "cherry viewing spots." The smaller blossoms with reddish young leaves look more delicate than gorgeous... Maybe that's why I like them so much.

Hello Obachan,

the pictures are very good to my eyes. Do you mind telling me what camera and objective you're using?

What lovely photos. We in New England are still bearing the brunt of a cold winter. Spring is peeking arouond the corner, but not quite ready to make an appearance. I so look forward to the warmth and the colors of flowers. I imagine, as usual, the warm weather will arrive in full force skipping the lovely spring weather and jumping right into the heat and humidity. I'll take it this year with the winter we have had....I envy your move to the countryside!! It seems the perfect thing to do.
