SUNSHINE!!

Ah…. Sunshine! Finally! How we missed it during the LONG rainy season this year? I was so sick of rain. For the past couple of weeks, when I woke up in the morning, my first thought was, “Gosh, I have to go to work riding my bicycle in the rain AGAIN, and the rain coat is still wet!”

Well, off to work now…

obachan, konichiwa! I've been lurking as a reader of your other cooking blog for a while and truly enjoyed your writings! I'm fascinated (or addicted :P) by Japanese culture and foods, and it's truly wonderful to have a glimpse of someone's life in Japan. Thanks for letting us be nosey and telling us tips and bits of your experience there. You write so well in English, did you live somewhere else before moving to Japan?

Thank you for your kind comment, rc. So glad to hear that someone enjoys what I write. I have lived in the states for apx. 4 years (in total) in my late twenties, and that's about all my experience outside Japan.
