SOME PHOTOS OF MY HOMETOWN
Here's some photos I took in my hometown last weekend.
View from my dad's orange orchard
It is a very small town with a great view of the Pacific Ocean. You can have a better view from the orange orchards on the slope of the mountains.

Wow!!!! Looks like you grew up in a very nice place next to the ocean where there's a lot of fresh fish, fruits and vegetables. Country living. That's a good life for a child. You must have a lot of fond memories playing around the ocean and in the orange orchard. -lance

Hi lance,
Yep Yep! I did and still do enjoy the country living. Have both fond memories and bad memories. This is such a lovely place but the problem is there’s almost no job….

Yep, I know what you mean. Seems like the only way to live in the country is to either take the train, drive or fly to your job site. Or just wait till retirement and collect pension and live in the country.
From the seashells you collected, looks like the life in the sea near your home is rich with sea life. Must have a lot of fresh fish and sea urchins to cook up. Looking at your pics sure made me homesick for good old country living. -lance

I’m planning to move to my hometown in several years doing a SOHO work --- that was the only solution I could find. Seems like the prefectural government is going to back-up those who choose that kind of work style, because they concluded that’s the only way to keep younger generations in this rural area.
Obachan,
Glad you're be moving back home in several years. Nothing like country living with the fresh air. What's SOHO?

lance,
Oh, terribly sorry that I forgot to respond!!
SOHO is “Small Office Home Office.” I’m basically going for work-at-home jobs that are possible with the help of the internet.

You're so lucky your goverment provides such a service. I wish I could move back to the country and work from home and smell the ocean breeze, although you'll have to purchase a pool table. :^) Good luck........lance

I don’t know how much the government would help….
You’re right about the pool table, but if I bought one, there’d be no place to put it in the house. ;P
